I’m Mimi!

Writer/Director • Actor • Musician • Photographer

In art and in life, I’m an old soul yet young at heart.

Ever since I was running around in diapers, I’ve channeled my curiosity through an artistic lens. Throughout my adolescence, I dove into art forms galore – photography, theatre, dance, woodworking, painting… you name it.

I followed a passion for the arts to Chapman University, where I got a B.F.A. in Film Production: Directing. Since then, I’ve worked across film, tv, theatre, commercials, and more.

I love finding where humor collides with heart in the most absurd ways. My favorite stories are the ones that make you cry and laugh in the same breath. That’s the spirit I like to bring into my creations.

Some recent endeavors include… originating the role of Euryale in Gorgon with Firefly Theatre Group and finishing a festival circuit at Coronado Island Film Festival for my award-winning short film Uncle Berry Bit It.
